  • Review: Perfectly mature Rioja. Clear, red colour with light edges. Classy nose: Strawberries, leather, clove, vanilla or white pepper notes. Medium body on palate with good acidity. Tamed tannins. Nicely paired with Secreto Ibérico. I will look for 05 bottles. By the way, cause an extraordinary vintage, this is frutier but not a modern style wine, in any sense! Bright red cherry colour with ruby hints. It has also a good intense deep colour with a violet rim. The oak aging has been cautious to achieve a good balance between the aromas from the oak and those coming from the ripe fruit as well. It develops a good balance at the palate coming from the sweet and elegant tannins.
