- Review: This wine is the best Merlot for the price. It is the equivalent of two buck chuck (Charles Shaw) on the West Coast and I think it is only sold in the 1.5 L container, making it around $3.50 for a regular size bottle. It is dry with none of the typical 'low cost' aftertaste. This is the perfect wine for daily 2 glass Merlot drinker (the Cab is great too).
