  • Review: Aged in French oak, this perennial Astor favorite is a soft, fruity red with engaging spicy character. "The already traditional Coleccion Privada by Navarro Correas, comprises four red wines: Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Syrah, Merlot; and one white wine: Chardonnay. They have the perfect balance between fruit and oak, with 12 months aging in small oak barrels (40%). Each varietal part of this family depicts a label with paintings by different Argentinean artists who show there their view of wine as a work of art.

Since mid 1800s and for more than a century, the family used to sell their grapes and wines to other producers. Finally, in 1974 Edmundo Navarro Correas, a direct descendant of Juan de Dios Correas, started to produce wines bearing the family’s name. The New Winery In order to increase its wine production and storage capacity, expand its export goals and gain inception in Wine Tour circuits, NAVARRO CORREAS has built new plant facilities in Godoy Cruz, Mendoza, Argentine Republic.
